“Spiritual Gifts” • 1st Corinthians 12 – Elder Bryce Lowrance. Even though the miraculous gifts of the Holy Spirit have ceased, the principle of church unity that the Apostle Paul teaches in this chapter still applies today. We have each been called by the sovereign grace of God individually, but we have been call into unity of the Body of Christ, the church. Therefore, whatever blessing a child of God has, it has been given to be put to use in the church for the benefit of others.
