The gospel clearly explains to us that, yes, we are sinner, but that is whom Christ came to save!
Month: February 2021
Having every detail about Who Jesus is and exactly how He saved His people is very important in order to honor Him properly here on earth. But while a man’s confession may be flawed, his salvation is still secure in the finished work of Christ!
Triumphal Feast • Ephesians 1:15-20 “Paul’s Prayer” pt. 1
In this message from the expository series on the Letter to the Ephesians, Elder Bryce describes God’s design for the pastor of a local church. It is through the local church, with God guiding an undershepherd, that He feeds His children. God gives the man a heart for the people he pastors so that he will be willing and able to teach the things they need the most in their lives.
The Disciple Whom Jesus Loved
It would seem that John wants us all to be able to lay our head on Jesus’ chest.
James the Son of Zebedee
Jesus tells James that he would follow Him through sufferings. As recorded in Acts 12, James became the first martyr among the Apostles. He wanted to be where Jesus was and his desire was fulfilled.
Triumphal Feast • Ephesians 1:8-14 “Sealed with that Holy Spirit of Promise” pt. 2
The gospel describes our value to God. Our belief in the gospel seals our minds and hearts with the knowledge that God loves us. With this belief as our foundation, we can face the hatred and wickedness around us with a different perspective. Rather than facing hate with hate, we can face all that we see with the love of Christ pouring out of us.
Andrew was content and happy just being with the Lord in His service. Perhaps we should seek the same in our own lives.

Peter, the “Rock”
The church is not built upon Peter with him as the first pope. The church is built upon Jesus Christ, the true Rock of ages!
Triumphal Feast • Ephesians 1:8-14 “Sealed with that Holy Spirit of Promise” pt. 1
Elder Bryce shows that our belief of the gospel is the key to our joy and peace. Being sealed with that Holy Spirit of promise only comes when we trust Jesus. This resolved mind will allow us to face the turmoil and wickedness that vexes the world today.
