And the ruler of the synagogue answered with indignation, because that Jesus had healed on the sabbath day, and said unto the people, There are six days in which men ought to work: in them therefore come and be healed, and not on the sabbath day.

My sister always sings us a song when someone won’t go along with the joyful fun of friends or family. It starts something like this:
“Every party has a pooper, that’s why I invited you. Party pooper, party pooper. The minute you walked through the door, I knew that you couldn’t take any more. Party pooper, party pooper.”
And that is exactly how Satan and the wicked react to the goodness of God!
There is no logical reason to be upset when this woman is healed, even on the Sabbath day! They just don’t like seeing other people blessed. They hate God that much.
The next time someone near you is blessed by God, make sure you are not a party pooper! Be the first one to join in and rejoice with those that are rejoicing!
