Part 1 of this message begins in Colossians 1:26. The mystery of God is not revealed to the news media, the seminary, the university, or any other worldly institution. The truth of Who God is and what He has done has been ordained by God to be taught to His people in the world through the local church. If we are not active in a local assembly, we are robbing ourselves of things that God promised for centuries to reveal to us. If we are ignorant of God’s will, it is not because He has hidden it from us. It is because we have neglected the one place where He said He would teach us — the church.
