Happy Thanksgiving

Happy Thanksgiving

For God will save Zion, and will build the cities of Judah: that they may dwell there, and have it in possession.

Psalms 69:35

Happy Thanksgiving from “Little Brother’s Thoughts on the Bible.” I pray that you all have a safe and joyful time with friends and family today.

Thanksgiving is a uniquely Christian AND American holiday. It is designed to be a day to thank God on a nationwide scale for His blessings and mercies. Be wise with your health but don’t forget your soul needs fellowship with other people of God for spiritual health.

As Sunday approaches please remember the above verse. Zion is the New Testament church. There is salvation from the dangers of this world in worship and fellowship with a local assembly.

You have probably made plans for meals today and shopping (or not!) tomorrow. Why not add church into your holiday plans? After all this holiday calls on us to turn to God in Thanksgiving. What better place is there to do this than where He designed?

Hope to see you in church this Sunday!
