Jesus always did the will of the Father. This pleased the Father but many unbelievers were not pleased at all with what Jesus did and said. Many sought not only to stop His ministry but to destroy Him altogether.

We each, as children of God, have a job to do. We are to walk worthy of our calling by living our lives loving others (Ephesians 4:1-2).
We may face opposition to this by those who love the world. It is not our job to fight with them. Nor should we be surprised that they don’t like us. After all, they hated Jesus first! And since this shouldn’t surprise us, we have no need to dwell on it publicly on social media demanding justice!
No, we have a job to do. And no part of that job concerns our feelings or reputation.
We have a job to glorify God by loving others.
When opposition comes, and it will, simply move on to another field of labor. There will be those to help wherever you go. You just need to be looking!
