No, Jesus Was Not A Racist
At first glance, some might think that in this passage Jesus is fed up with fighting against the Pharisees and joins in their overtly racist attitudes towards anyone that is not a Jew. Let me assure, that is not the case.

The gospel describes our value to God. Our belief in the gospel seals our minds and hearts with the knowledge that God loves us. With this belief as our foundation, we can face the hatred and wickedness around us with a different perspective. Rather than facing hate with hate, we can face all that we see with the love of Christ pouring out of us.

Elder Bryce shows that our belief of the gospel is the key to our joy and peace. Being sealed with that Holy Spirit of promise only comes when we trust Jesus. This resolved mind will allow us to face the turmoil and wickedness that vexes the world today.
