We most certainly must be on fire for the Lord in our personal discipleship but that cannot be to the neglect of others.
Our personal zeal to be close to Jesus should also encourage us to help others.
Our personal Galilean ministry should consist of simple, everyday actions that are of benefit to another person.
We don't need huge stadiums with rock concerts or million dollar book deals. We need to evangelize Jesus' way. Deep fellowship with one other person or a small group is the key to truly making devout disciples of Jesus.
We should have our light shining all the time so that when we come across one of God's precious children, we can be a blessing and help to them.
Arrogance and pride have no place in the discussion of the word of God. If a person feels they are smarter than someone else that may be true. But, how did they gain this knowledge? And, is their knowledge truthful information?
By the way, if it was all about the numbers, then Jesus was a failure too! Yes, He had thousands of followers when he fed them in the wilderness. But, as soon as he started preaching, there were only a few hundred at most that continued to follow Him!
