Leaven and Liberty
Jesus does not explain this parable to us. Therefore, we should hold our opinions with a loose grip.

Lodging Birds
We do need to understand that the simple, little herb tree is sufficient in Jesus’ eyes for His redeemed. Therefore, it should be more than satisfactory for us.

How?
How does God spread His kingdom? I don’t know. I just know that it is like the wind blowing and we can see and hear the effects (John 3). Those effects are because God has worked, and therein we should shout for joy!

General Resurrection
If there were in fact two different resurrections, the perfect time to explain that would have been when Jesus was asked about this parable or when He spoke about it in John, Chapter 5.

The Enemy in the Kingdom
The kingdom of Christ is a spiritual one. It is not bound by borders or earthly military forces.

Jesus is saying, “This is what I do.”

Jesus provides this parable for us to remind us to just do our job and be assured that God will do His!
