The sign of Jonah is a good one for the elect for it points to the fact that Jesus' resurrection secures theirs as well.

Those that are severed from among the elect are described as wicked or “the goats.” These will be cast away into everlasting torment.
General Resurrection
If there were in fact two different resurrections, the perfect time to explain that would have been when Jesus was asked about this parable or when He spoke about it in John, Chapter 5.
The Enemy in the Kingdom
The kingdom of Christ is a spiritual one. It is not bound by borders or earthly military forces.
Resurrecting Power
I challenge those that claim to have the power or means to cause the new birth to raise themselves from the dead three days later! Oh wait, they can't hear me!
Jesus Came (To All Those He Resurrected)
We cannot bring ourselves to Christ, nor would we have the desire to come to Him. And, even if our loved ones desired that we be raised to spiritual life, they do not have the power to bring us to Christ.
Weep Not (As Others)
Luke records that the first act of compassion Jesus did was to simply speak the words, “Weep not.” Jesus had yet to do anything that would relieve the anguish of the woman’s situation but His words are recorded as words of compassion. How can this be?
In Like Manner
It never ceases to amaze me how God's people can make things so difficult for themselves. The Bible clearly teaches that Jesus will come without sin unto salvation in a very loud and visible way at the end of time.
