Too many sects of Christianity are judgmental toward God's people and try to hold them to a standard that they themselves are not able to keep (Acts 15:10). Outward conformity to men's standards will never justify us before a holy God.
God gives men understanding of His word so that they can feed the people of God and comfort them.
If we keep thinking about our problem, then we will worry. Instead of worrying, we should patiently wait on the Lord to help us.
If we ever are tempted to worship God simply for what we get from it, we should take a closer look at the Pharisees to see that this is not only selfish it produces vain worship.
So many today say, "I'm waiting for God to work in my life." Here's the thing...He already is!

Let us not point the finger at some other city or nation. Let us not exalt ourselves and say that is talking about some other church or individual. Our belief is reflected in our actions (James 2:18). If we are not transforming our lives in thankfulness to the grace of God bestowed upon us, we are no better than these ungrateful and wretched cities.
