Depravity Causes Unbelief
These men cannot go to where Jesus will be going because to go to heaven, a person must be born again, and they are not.
Identities Revealed
The scriptures do not say that the natural man will not. The natural man cannot because he does not have the spiritual ears to hear.
Jesus Knows!
We are secured in the love of God by the finished work of Jesus Christ but let us not live in unthankfulness and disobedience. We still have to to “deal with God” here in time, and he expects us to be about HIS business not our own.

Those who seek to deny the truth of scripture or deny that Jesus is God are not a friend to the people of God.

God gives men understanding of His word so that they can feed the people of God and comfort them.
What Grace!
This scene is one of the most remarkable expressions of God’s grace to be found in scripture.
Conviction
Jesus convicts those who were trying to trap Him.
Entrapment
The Bible is to tell us the wonders of our Savior Jesus Christ so that we can be set free. The gospel is not designed for, nor should it ever be used for, putting anyone in bondage.
“Them”
