Triumphal Feast • Psalms Series 9. “Pray Without Ceasing” Psalm 5 – Part 1

“Pray Without Ceasing” • Psalm 5 – Part 1

In this Psalm, David shows us the striking differences in the way God views His elect and the wicked. God’s chosen ones have access by His abundant mercy to approach the throne of grace for help in time of need. The wicked continually seek to fulfill their own desires, and God will ultimately bring them to destruction. The righteous saints of God are redeemed freely by the blood Jesus Christ and therefore have direct access to the Father and can expect help when they ask in faith.

Triumphal Feast • Psalms Series 8. “An Evening Prayer” Psalm 4 – Part 2

An Evening Prayer • Psalm 4 Part 2

Today’s edition of Triumphal Feast is the conclusion of the message An Evening Prayer from Psalm 4. Verse 2 of this psalm ended with the word SELAH. This means to pause and reflect on what we just sang or prayed. The first reason we can have confidence that God will answer us in our distress is because He has heard and answered us before. It is vain to look for help in any other place than in the Lord. Today we will begin in Psalm 4 verse 3. where we learn that we can have confidence that God hears and answers our prayers because He has chosen us to himself and we are precious to him.

Triumphal Feast • Colossians Series 15 “Prayer-The Powerhouse of the Church” Colossians 4:2-4 – Part 1

Prayer: The Powerhouse of the Church • Colossians 4:2-4 – Elder Bryce Lowrance A praying church is the salt of the earth and the light of the world. Prayer is the battering-ram of the church that calls upon God to break open the very gates of hell so that they cannot stand against the church. Paul calls upon all churches to be continually in prayer. Watching for needs in their community and looking for answered prayers. All the while, the supplications of the church should be mingled with praise and thanksgiving.

Colossians Series • 3. Paul’s Prayer – Colossians 1:9-14 Paart 2
Today, we will conclude the message on Paul’s prayer. The recording begins with the explanation of how it is possible that we can be so close to God that we can see Him working in our lives even in the the times of deepest distress. We may not understand what exactly is happening but, by faith, we can trust God and see that His will is more important than ours. This is because it gives Him all the glory and we receive all the peace.
