When trials come, let us remember the “faith of a dog,” and stay at the feet of Jesus as long as we need Him.
At first glance, some might think that in this passage Jesus is fed up with fighting against the Pharisees and joins in their overtly racist attitudes towards anyone that is not a Jew. Let me assure, that is not the case.
God will set the entire record straight. Until then, we should not be surprised when people who hate God spew hatred toward us.
Most of us do not want to admit how horrible we truly are. We want to be in control of our destiny. The problem is we would choose wrong every time if not for God’s mercy acting on us.
Without the imputed righteousness of Jesus Christ, no man can stand before a holy God.
So many today say, “I’m waiting for God to work in my life.” Here’s the thing…He already is!
Don’t think of evangelism as someone else’s job or something that needs special planning and programs. Just live a thankful life, loving others, and the opportunities will be white for harvest.
